West Mountain Radio sells a great pair of speakers for computers and such. It is RF resistant.
Go to West Mountain Radio COMspkr about 70 bucks.

best thing to use is a 4- 6 inch speaker in a wooden cabinet. any small stereo spkr will do. i would not recomend a stereo speaker with a tweeter though, too much of the static will be reproduced. i think the plastic and metal cabinet spkrs sound bad compared to a wood cabinet. 209.
2zero9 workin this top secret station in massachusetts.

Check the Ù rating, I think most are 8Ù. Many years ago I used a full range speaker from and old boom box, it was the detachable kind if any of you remember. My old 29ltd was cranked up and give a distinct thump when I keyed. Was actually kind of cool became a trademark of my base. Any full range speaker will work well but like it says in the thread avoid a 2 way with tweeter I have found them static-eyAv8r1 wrote:That sounds like a good idea 209! I think that's what I'll do. No tweeter...another good idea!
Thanks again.
