Sparky remembered my BD

Well today is my birthday, 43rd , and even though I had to go to work today it's been a very good day. The wife and kids got me a garbage can that opens automatically when you get about 8 inches away. That was cool, I think they were trying to tell me something though. Then my wife said " Oh yea something came in the mail from sparkys cb shack". Well my eyes lit up like I was 3 not 43. It was the Cobra 29s that I had given to Al at Sparkys cb shack last week. I couldn't wait to try one out. He tuned and aligned both of them,added talk back and in one I had him put an Astatic echo board in. I went out to the truck through the Wilson 500 mag mount on the roof. I quickly checked the swr's, not tuned mind you just enough to make sure it was close.then fired it up. I was talking to and hearing people I have never heard before, JUST AWESOME,. Dk 2 swinging to about 30. Sparky did a Great job and quick too. I know he had no idea it was my birthday but it was sweat that they arrived today. Sorry for being so long winded, But I'm Really siked.

The echo board sounds great, Al said it was going to be a tight fit in the ltd classic but he must have managed alright. Al is a great guy to talk to, as I had stated in another thread, He explained enough to me to realize that I should leave the tweaking to an expert. So I did.
