ive read posts about restrictions on antennas ect, just in case someone wants thier antron higher and cant afford a tower ect here is an example of how to hang your vertical antenna.. if you can get the rope over the limb from the ground, there is no climbing. (usually start with fishing line and a rock, then tie on the rope). use a normal piece of mast, and a counterweight if needed(depending on the size of the mast and if you can tie it or not). tie it just under the mounting bracket. if it is hung close to the trunk the other branches may keep it from tipping/swinging, or you could tie it instead of the counterweight. paint everything with brown and dabs of gray and it will look like a dead limb (edit: i drew the counterweight in the wrong spot, it would have the most leverage mounted on the end ot the mast, make sure it is secure so it never falls off!))

its the easiest thing i could think of. years back, on saturday or sunday i would drive down one of the dirt roads in the woods near the waste treatment plant, screw the antron together and the mount. i had a fishing reel mounted on a slingshot with a nut and bolt on the end, fling that over the branch, tie on the rope, hoist it up, plug the coax into the mobile amp and be talking skip in about 20 minutes. all of this fit in my 1985 toyota tercel. i stopped talking out of the apartment after they came banging on the door and 'someone' cut the coax to my antron nicely mounted on the porch, lol. 209
