I've got a Ranger RCI6300-F150 with the low profile heatsink on the bottom of the radio. I'm trying to run it as a base, and I don't want to just sit it on a table with the heatsink being on the bottom of the radio. I'm looking for some kind of mount, short of building something, that will allow airflow underneath the radio. Anyone have any ideas?
you could use the mobile bracket and mount it with that to the desk or rig up a mount that bolts to the side holes with feet on it to hold the radio up a few inches off of the desk, that way its movable but still allows airflow.
yah, do like pumkin said and use the moble bracket only use it on the bottom. but if your heat sink is anything like the one on my galaxy 98 vhp its to big and wont fit. it does work like that on a 95t2.
