Is there a recommended diameter for a mast that will be about 20-30 feet long mounted in cement and braced to side of house at the gutter line?
Its for a Imax 2000.
Thanks
Bill

An off topic question,
I can't find any Imax 2000's locally.
Do you know where I can get one online? A place that ships fast and is not super expensive?
Ebay had good deals, but if you look for Solarcon Antennas, Ebay hasn't had any good choices at all in the past few weeks.
I think the diameter for the mount is the same as for the A-99 1 1/2 inch pipe should work.

hi bill, you dont need concrete at the base if its braced to the house and its just mast pipe. ive had a 3 element beam up since 2001 on antenna mast, on a two story house, with 3 house braces, 35 feet. 3-10 footers, and a five footer, standard radio shack mast.its about 8 feet or so above the roof.line i put a piece of slate so the mast wont try to sink in. youll be fine with just a vertical. 209
