Mast in concrete.

Okay I am going to run a mast up the side of our house(ranch style). And I'm not sure how much or how deep to go with the hole/concrete. I'm in Wisconsin(southern).
I am going to use a sleeve in the concrete, in case I need to slide the mast out of the ground.

The mast is 1 1/4" dia. Any idea on dept and width of hole?

How tall? Are you going to anchor it to the house in any way?

It will attach to side of house and be about 30' to the tip of the antenna.

make sure the pipe can drain water out the bottom of the pipe
if not it fill up with water and trust out.

You want to go below frost line. I would say a minimum of 3 feet deep. then put a layer of gravel on the bottom about 2-3 inches thick for water to drain away from the concrete. If i read you right, sleeving it will leave the tower not anchored by the concrete so you can slide it out. a better option is to get a hinge plate.
I dug 3 feet deep and 2x2 feet wide. graveled the bottom then i had a 3 foot section of tower i set down in the hole. the 3 legs of tower stuck out of the concrete just high enough to connect the base 10 foot section to it. then up i went. to lower it i remove one bolt from the leg facing the house as mine is anchored to the house as well near the top. remove the bolt and it hinges down away from the house on the other 2 legs of tower.

my bad. you're using mast, not tower...

you still want to go below frost line. at least 3 feet deep. make an easy even base like a 1x1 foot square or 1 foot circle. using a two man auger with 8 or 12 inch auger bit would do ya well too. 3 feet deep with some gravel on the bottom. if your mast is 1-1/4 i would sleeve it just slightly larger to slide it down in. perhaps 1-5/16 or 1-3/8

with temps hitting 40 below in the winter you'll probably need to go 4 ft or more to get below the frost line .
