Connex 4600 cooling fan

Hey guys, I gots this reddio that has a built in cooling fan in it, but I dont know if its thermostatically controlled or supposed to run continuously- well it doesnt.
Does anyone know? I dont have the owners manuales- Bought origially at GI Jose's Feb 07. For now im keeping the power knob closer to the barefoot setting to avoid heat problemas, but setting it at a quarter will warm it up a bit... Mucho problema??

Hmmm- Im afraid to test it by running it hot- how hot is it supposed to get b4 cutting on? Warm to the touch or ouch thats hot?
