Look what I just Snagged for under a grand. A 55' motorized crank up fold over triasto tower with fold over fixture, rotor, and a large 7 element log periodic beam. I will be putting a Signal Engineering lightning 4+ Quad beam on it.

I'll post more pics when I get her up.

Very nice! 8) Now comes the fun part ---> digging, concrete, sweat & tears. :?

But it'll be worth it. Nice choice in beam, too. ;)

It's my battery box. Its got two gel type deep cycle batteries in it. They help when I drive the Fat Boy hard.

Well the tower is up... This is what it took. I still have a few things left to do like grounding and getting the SWR flat. But for right now my station is talking.

You got a great deal on that tower and your shack and antenna look outstanding. I'm jealous!!! Where can I get more info on the power supplies your using? I've never seen that type of supply before. Where is that blue glow coming from? It looks to be coming from the fuse block? I have to pick one little nit and agree with Booty on the re-bar. I would have loaded the base with it.

The power supplys are made bey Cosel. I have two of them hooked up in parallel. Output is 14volts dc max at 125 amps each. Parallel output is 250amps. enough to run a eight pill amp. Oh I have seen pics of your shack...... makes mine look like a duck station. I am working to get mine up to snuff though.

Regards.
