Speaking of Naive, anyone know what Evian (as in the water) spells backwards?
I'm toying with the idea of getting a radio for the house. Would it just be a terrible, stupid Idea to use the existing T.V. type coax one a 150' run to my old off site antenna location. I know I can't use the t.v. antenna but I was wondering if I could use the existing coax. It's burried already and is there. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
busman is right. if it is the flat wire to the tv antenna it would be 300 ohm. cb is 50. I never payed attention to the water name backwards LOL too funny. No doubt that bottled water is a rip off. And their name is perfect as it prolly is tap water bottled.

Yeah, I always get a kick outta that joke.
The COAX is actually round. It's the same type of coax which is used for cable t.v. Maybe it will work? I'm gonna go enjoy some tap water now.
green horn nw indiana huh? anyway if its buried and has conduit you could probly use the old type to pull through the new coax when you get it i assume this is for a tower so dont dig ti all up yet cause if you can either pill a guide wire through or use one cable to pull the other oh yeah where in NWI? pm.me.
might save some YENOM
yep everybody here is correct, it is wrong and will not work. another reason it wont work is the ends are wrong size and will not even screw on the antenna or radio so you would have learned that before you hurt anything. BUT its always better to ask before you do mess somethin up
