when some one states that the clarifier has been unlocked, what exactly does this mean.?? i was thinking it means that you can adjust your transmit freq. as well as your receive. what is the benfit of this.? radio off freq.? fill me in.

Most clairifiers range from about 2-5 Khz. If you "unlock" it you should get at least a full 10Khz. The benefit of it is being able to the the A channels.
oh ok. so, if i turn my channel selector to ch.38 27.385 that with a unlocked clarifier i can turn it to 27.380. if i transmit will i be transmitting on 27.380 ??
yep. When you unlock it, it moves the TX and RX the same. Locked only moves the RX. The best configuration is having the coarse clarifier unlocked and the fine clarifier locked...that 95T has a button for that, I think...
