YOU KNOW SWAMPHOG THOSE LOOK LIKE A GOOD LITTLE BASE AMP THAT FAT BOY BASE PLUG IN JOB. ITS AB BIAS TO I SEE. I THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD LITTLE AMP FOR A BASE. I GOT A EASTCOAST STRAIGHT 4 PILL PLUG IN BASE OR ID GIVE IT A TRY. IN REALLITY I THINK A 500 BASE AMP IS PLENTY. YOUR NOT GONNA LOCK DOWN THE SUPER BOWL CHANNEL BUT WHO CARES. ITS A 600 WATT AND A HIGH DRIVE AMP. I THINK IT WOULD WORK GREAT WITH YOUR G-LEE. PLUS IF YOU DECIDE TO GO SSB YOUR ALL SET.

If it is a high drive amp like busman said, I would check to see what the recommended dead key input should be. My SWP GL dead keys 2 on low power and 4 on high power. Just to let you know if you don't have the GL yet. I can't recall if you said you got one ordered yet or not?

I run a mobile as a base, and as of right now, I don't want anything but a mobile, lol. A little power supply to go with it, and you're good to go.

I think that much power would be plenty. Most bases around me run about 200-300 watts constantly. The lowest my KLV1000 will run on low is about 700-800PEP depending on antenna. (I could de-tune it, but won't) That's really too much power for my bleed over stick Imax 2000, and there's no need for my Moonraker. I've been thinking of buying a little 1x2 base amp or something simular.
