Scanner freq.

I have an old scanner and would like to put it to work again. At one time I had freq. for police, public works. sheriff and 2 meter repeater in my area. Does anyone have this information or can you tell me where to get it for my area.

Thanks guys. I live in a town with no RS. I know it is ashamed. I have to go 30 miles. I will being in a few weeks.
