I know it is supposed to be close to the antenna connection, but it's cold here, So for now it is actually closer to the radio, come spring I'll put it ant the feed to the antenna

it is not absolutely necessary to have it at the antenna......make one and put at base of tower...or just outside of house.....

neighbor just made one....20' of rg213....4' pvc..sat upright on the ground right outside shack....with taped to a ground rod....knocked about 50% out.....

made a smaller one...15 wraps.....put inside a metal lined 5 gal bucket...sealed coax exits...and grounded with a rod....knocked out 70%
