Sure it can.

There's 2 different types of frequency counter options you can pursue.

#1 - A freq counter that simply plugs into the coax between the radio and antenna. These generally need a 12v power source, so you will have to run power to it. The cool thing is a cigarette lighter will power it b/c it's so small. They seem a bit higher than the other type of freq counters, but are about $80 or so.

#2 - The newer style 6 digit counters that people are putting on their connex and general radios. These freq counters have a newer style plug, but do come with an adapter to wire it inside the radio as well as feed off the radios power source. These are around $60, but require a bit more work to install than the $80 type.

It depends if you want the counter to read on RX or not.Check E-bay out I always see alot of them on there. If you buy the one that hooks inside the radio let me know I can give you some instructions on how to hook them up.I know Sparky can give you a good price on one.The counters that go between the radio and Ant only work on TX,the ones that have to be wired into the radio work on RX and is really nice if you have extra channels in the radio plus they also work when you TX.
