Well folks, once again I am pleased with the service and quickness of shipping at GI Joes! I am a few days behind on this, but I would just like to say that the staff there was helpful and I received my Texas Star DX399 on time. As far as the amp is concerned, it is a wonderful mid-level amplifier (350 watts max with SSB) and provides me with the level of wattage I need for distance communications. I have received very good on-air reports so far, and coupling this amp with my Motorola System 500 + a D104, I have a very formidable base station!
