i have been reading alot about react and emergency com. and i wanted to know how i could do an indoor antenna something that would be good for local contacts i am running a mag mount now inside my house it works ok to talk to truckers if they are line of sight but after that i cant hear or talk to them

The dipole is a very good option. i am currently using one with my base and have been easily talking to a buddy in my mobile setup 10 miles away. and that is using a 18 ft half wave dipole set up in the house. I am sure an outdoor setup would be much better

There is a seller on ebay that has them on alot. Look up 11 meter dipole.
