I just got a Uniden 396 to take with me on my trip to Austin in a month. All I can say is, "Wow!" Scanners sure have gotten complex since the days of simple VHF radio systems. This thing would take forever to program if it weren't for the programming software I bought.

Is that the BCD-396T? How are you liking it so far? I was thinking about getting one,but it's got a hefty price tag. My area is almost all digital,so i gotta go with the times i guess.

I have one, if it wasn't for the PC software. I probably let my dog chew it up. The Keys would be worn out with all the input needed.
