I just got a Uniden 396 to take with me on my trip to Austin in a month. All I can say is, "Wow!" Scanners sure have gotten complex since the days of simple VHF radio systems. This thing would take forever to program if it weren't for the programming software I bought.

I have one, if it wasn't for the PC software. I probably let my dog chew it up. The Keys would be worn out with all the input needed.Circuit Breaker wrote:I just got a Uniden 396 to take with me on my trip to Austin in a month. All I can say is, "Wow!"
