My base setup

#160587

Post by rocketdeerdog »

Been a member of the forum for about three weeks now and love it. Heres a pic of the base setup Im currently running. Its mostly all mobile equipment. The radio is a Mirage 44 running on a Janson 7 amp power supply. The amp is a boomer 250 running on a pyramid 50 amp power supply. I use an astatic 575 m6 mic, a uniden bearcat speaker, and a dosy TC 4001.

I like it!! I've been planning to mount my radios and such like you but on a computer like desk. Now if I can just get a power supply and a place that allows an antenna I'd be right there with ya. :D

Just got a new cabinet to put my equipment in. I like it better but it really made the wife happy about having all this "junk" in the house. Found locally on craigslist and it only cost $30. A little tweaking with the dremel and the power supply fits perfect. I think a galaxy saturn would look great in there.
