how to mount ground plane kit for Imax
I received my Imax 2000 ground plane kit. It does not have any instructions. It looks very easily to put together. The gpk just attaches to the existing antenna mounting bracket. The question is which set of holes do I attach the ground plane kit to, the top or bottom holes?

The kit mounts to the bottom set of holes, there is a slight interference issue if you try the top set. Myself I have tried both positions and there seems to be no difference at all. I don't really believe this kit does anything what so ever, I had hoped to resolve some bleed issues with my surround sound system but it was no help. There have been some threads here on this subject, I left it on for now but will be removing it to make room for my 3 element Yagi horizontal beam I hope to locate below the Imax.

yep the instruction manual states to mount it to the bottom set of holes.........like others I'm not sure it helps but I got it. gonna try a Maco V5000 here in the next week.....I myself love the ease of a ground plane and where I sit there are people in all directions and when I had the Vqued up I was constantly turning it........stuck my imaxx back up last night and was in heaven.
