Well i bought it.I got every thing here at the house except the Antron and the pole it is on.He's taking it down this evening and I'll pick it up tomorrow.I have a friend helping me with the installation and i should be up and running by tomorrow evening.I was wrong about one thing though, its not an Astatic power mic instead its has an Astatic 636L and RK56 mic with it and also has an external speaker. My friend is bring his meter over to set it up for me and says i need to my own but other than that do you see any thing that i am missing in my setup that i would need?Remember this is my first cb so i really don't know what I'm doing........yet anyway :Peace!: Thanks for all your help

My 2 cents..... Yes you need a meter of your own. And get a NEW one! Any used one may have a very loose needle, and take care about what power setting you have it on. No putting 500w 0n the 100 setting! That's how they get loose! I personally have an Astatic 600 meter, measures up to 5000w, about $100. You may not need or want that much capability. Dosey makes some good 1000 & 2000w meters for a tad less. Good luck with the new rig!
