can anyone tell me if there are any modifications for a uniden washington base radio

Replace the loop mixing crystal with 11.3258 MHz crystal, isolate Pin 10 of MB8719 from the board (on these, it's grounded [pulled low] due to the lower frequency crystal), and then you can mod the PLL the way you would a 148 or 2000.killapits wrote:can anyone tell me if there are any modifications for a uniden washington base radio
If you leave the loop mixing crystal alone, the radio will do 64 channels under channel 1 and will do 24 above (using all available switching options).
