base equipment so far.

Just got back home from West memphis. The guy at Pro-tech Cb shop fixed up my Galaxy 55 pretty good. So now i go the 55,44, and Connex 3300hp, havent decided which ones to put in base lol.

40' of rg8 coax

A-99

Pyle PSL522x 40amp constant 50amp surge power supply

Palomar elite 250 amp.

30ft of antenna mast.

Radio shack pwr/swr meter

I think im good to go lol except for the mounting stuff for pole and antenna.

At the moment i only plan on being about 20-30ft in the air, might go up higher later

Have i left anything out that you guys can think of?

Oh, and what would be the best way to put up the pole and antenna? The last time i used a telescopic pole, but i couldnt find one this time.

Gonna put it about two feet in the ground and bracket it to the facial of the house(after i beef it up of course.)

Should i put the whole thing together on the ground and then "walk" it up?

Thanks again

be oceanliner on the side.

You will need 4~5 jumpers to hook everything up, so get about a dozen of PL259 and extra coax, you may want to consider is a in-line low pass filter, a good base mic, a world map or globe (ambitious), you need a log book and the most important a good cup holder. a spillage near the radio can turn in to a very costly disaster.
