Workman meters.

Just came home with a Workman 5000watt pwr,swr,mod,lighted meter and was just wondering if anyone else here uses the Workman brand meters.

Any good or bad info

I have one, and I like the large back lit display, but I don't use it daily.

My 2 pill rig will HAMMER the needle on the Workman's 250 watt PEP scale, but it only reads @210 on the 1,000 watt scale.

My Radio Shack meter shows that I'm doing @290 watts PEP on a 2,000 watt scale, with the same 2 pill rig.

Ok thats good i plan on leaving mine in line, this one goes up to 5000 watts.

I do run a meter all the time, but I'm just not using the Workman right now. I likely will later at some point. Right now the Radio Shack meter is in the chain.

I have one and it works as it should. I don't leave it in line but test randomly/regularly.

Oceanliner it is good to see your base project is coming together so well for you!

I had A cheaper model workman and hated it . It would show way more watts than you were really doing .
