Well when I first got settled in with my base station, was using radio shack antenna mast and i was 28' to the bottom of the Imax 2000.
About a week or so ago my Father in law stopped by and gave me a 50'rohn tower, that he had asked around at work and got for me. FREE!!!!!!! lol
Last weekend my whole family came over for some cake and ice cream (my younger bro's birthday) and we all got my tower up! I am now 52' in the air with my Imax.
I talked to Stagecoach for a good while in the chat room a few saturdays ago, and he advised me on my setup. I followed his advice the best my money would allow me rofl, i have
good coax, guy wired the tower, and everything will be properly grounded this afternoon.
I must admitt, I thought i was king of my area only being 28' up lol, now i am even happier. Thanks to everyone for the well given advice when i sought it.
I must admit Everyone one of my family members helped me put up my tower. With the layout of the land surrounding my house this was not an easy task by any means. I am lucky in
my family all support anything i choose to do, and everyone of them lend a helping hand when needed.
Well i just wanted to share my good fortune with you fellas, since a lot of you have helped me out since i have become a member of this forum.
