Best place to buy LMR 400?

Welp, I'm looking for a deal on some REAL Times LMR 400. Where's the best place to get it? Right now I've got a mix of RG213U and RG8 and I'm just wanting it all to be the same, and wanting some VHF performance as well. I'm looking for 1x 75 ft piece, 1x 60 ft piece, 2x 30 ft pieces and maybe some jumpers.

I got the standard Times Micro LMR-400 (non-flex) at Texas Towers back in April for .69 cts per foot. The LMR-400 UF (ultra flex) was on back order. Searched around found The Antenna Farm for the Times Micro LMR-400uf for 1.09 cts per foot. Now this was in April also Linx so expect to pay more because of the copper prices. I needed both types because of the beam and ground plane installations. It is some good stuff, in my opinion it was easier to work with than any other type of coax I have used. There are some other manufacturers out there but I did not want to settle for less. Now if I could get a break in this heat I could get it all up! Good luck.

I got a deal some months back from a seller on eBay named loliachka. I have since heard some claims that he sold some coax that was not the real deal, but have not seen pictures to prove the claim.

Mine was. In fact, I actually missed his auction and contacted him about it and he assured me it was the real deal and sold it to me for the last listed price in a private auction.

He usually has multiple lengths listed and will cut to length if I remeber correctly, sells it with or without ends already in place.

Based on my one experience with him, if I ever need any more I will not hesitate to contact him. Great communication all the way through the deal until the coax arrived at my door.

You know how this eBay crap goes, see if he has any listed and question him about it if you can't locate any from a dealer or elsewhere.

Oh and by the way, if you do buy from him and get ripped off, it is still not fair to ban me for 3 days for giving a Mod bad advice!

Isn't the LMR 400 like a solid copper center, and the LMR 400UF a stranded copper center? If it's a stranded copper center, then I don't see how it's any better than like RG213 or similar coax. Exactly how hard is the LMR 400 to maneuver? I hadn't considered the LMR 400UF for fear of it being of less quality.

About the knock off LMR 400's. Are they as good as the Times? I am curious about the quality, or if folks are just buying the Times for the name. I want it to be good, and last a few years. I'm going to be running it on a Cushcraft HF beam, and on a Cushcraft VHF-UHF yagi. I was going to run it on my dipole, but I am going to use what came with it. Also the wire is on a pulley system so it's easy to change out in the future.

The standard LMR400 has a solid copper-clad aluminum center conductor - at least the stuff I have does. I am not sure about the flex kind. As for the 'flexibility' of the standard LMR400, it's pretty stiff stuff and retains its shape. You can bend it into an 'L' shape and it will stay that way. Of course, you don't want to have any transmit coax bent into an 'L' if you care about performance. Imagine 3/16" to 1/4" thick aluminum wire - that's about how stiff it is. You can't really have it bent into a circle with a radius of less than 9" very easily.

I got 50' with ends attached at Apollo Communications in Glendale, AZ for $50 back in March.

It's not good for making jumpers, too stiff. It has a higher velocity factor than RG213 and less loss.

The Antenna Farm was who I dealt with on the UF, when it arrived the invoice was inside it was originally from Tessco. This was Times Micro LMR-400.
