In line Microphone Equalizer?

My Astatic 575 M6 microphone has a cool Tone control on board. Has anyone ever taken that a step further...like an in line Audio equalizer?

seen one the other day. plugs in line with mic, & gives you 3 adjustments,.. pretty cool was thinking of trying one,.. just hope it don't turn out to be a squel box like the moible max..

Dont know about using an EQ. I use them for audio work but only to get the sound to reproduce from a particular set of speakers correctly. On a CB ? what would you get ? the sound is different on every radio that listens.

I look at this through different eyes, in pro audio EQ's are not good things, just a nessesary evil we sometimes use.

Where did you see the three knob inline EQ? online?
I figure an inline EQ would be fun.

I understand a bit about pro-audio...I have a "parametric?" Equalizer on the system in my truck, and it always ends up flat...flat is a beautiful thing! in both Audio and SWR's!
Sidenote...I need replacement 6X9's for the Camry...stock sytem, what are the sweetest sounding 6X9's these days?

Personaly I like the sound of Rockford Fosgate ( heavyer base/mid ) and Infinity ( heavyer high/mid ) there are some great ones out there but when I was shopping 6 months ago those were the 2 I liked best. I have both in my truck, rocks up front and infin in back, Subs are 10" twin MTX ( Pro line ) with audiobahn amps. Alpine head.

found it at dandjradiowaves . they have ALL kinds of toys for cb's & good prices..,

Talked to a guy running one the other day, sounded good, with noticable changes in pitch.. but i think he was using a much higher end peace of equipment..

order a few time from them, did get a slow shipped item once, but they did ship it,.. I think on some items they order it when you order, then ship it out to you when they get it....
