running coax in 2009 volvo truck

I drive a 2009 volvo day cab. I would like to install an antenna on my drivers side mirror arm or on a perch. I am having difficulty figuring out how to run the coax without just slamming it in the door or causing any permanent damage to the truck. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have done this install in my Volvo sleeper. This is a company truck. What I did was open up the mirror assembly and arm and remove the factory wire and replace it with a new wire. I then ran it to a bird perch installed on the mirror mount at the door. The other end I removed the door rubber seal near the front of the door and sanded a small 1/2 grove in the metal door frame where the rubber mounts (just enough to place my wire thru) and then reinstalled the rubber gasket. I then ran the wire under the dash to the radio mount. Hope this helps
