Have any of you free banders have any experience with these sliders/tuners? Found a bunch of these units and put a few on ebay to see what they bring. Thanks, we back out reading the mail.
It looks similar to the siltronix vfo's for the old 23 channel radios. I had one of them and it was used as a crystal replacement giving coverage above and below the 23 channels.
I have a '70s vintage Maco Mobile 300, 2-6jr6's pushing 3-8950's. Hasn't been used in 20+ years but in its day it rocked the airwaves in a big ole Kenworth.
