tube radio and solid state amp?

Can a tube radio be used with a solid state amp?

Sure it can. Just don't over drive it lower the drive by increasing the value of the screen dropping resistor on the final.

I myself prefer using a tube radio with a tube amp. Tube amps and radios have a good sound quality and when you use a pill amp with a tube radio they just dont sound as good.....but that's just my preference.
