Folks: Just wanted to let you all know I received a 2950 today from Tireguy on a trade. The radio was in even BETTER condition than he described. It was packed professionally and shipped the exact date he told me it would ship. He also included a note with all his info and the option to return it if I was not truly satisfied with it. Thats old school 50 not the DX version. I run a old school 50 in my PU great radio.

Great radio. I just sold mine to a fellow wheeler up here. Hopefully my Magnum 257 will be close to what the 2950 was. Size was a big deciding factor.

its the same thing as a 2950 ,except for the amplifier built in.

i know... thats why i like it... but how low can the power go? is it possible to turn off? no right? im just aking in case i wanted to go put it infront of my base amp.... which wants no more than 12 on am dead key and 25 on ssb...

i can set the deadkey to 2 watts,but it will prolly still swing 100.
