Ray at PRO-TECH CB SHOP
I sent my TS667V to Pro-Tech for repair and want to let you all know Ray did an excellent job on it. Turn-around time was quick, and the price was great. He even sent a text message letting me know the cost before he fixed it. Thanks Ray, and thanks Pro-Tech CB Shop.

All due respect to Betty Boop but to be honest I haven't read the paper work that comes with Texas Stars lately. But the last I heard they have a two year warranty. We have sold all the models for decades and not one has come back for us to send back to TS. The little wheat lamps that light up the buttons never last over three years themselves when used by a proffessional driver, they are job security. Also to be honest, at this point I don't know what kind of repair Ray did on this TS but if it was something TS covered under warranty Ray would have told Tireguy in his text.
I'll find out Monday when we open exactly what the papers say in one of the boxes...come to think of it if any members have bought one of these units in the past month or so, what does your warranty paper say? Just curious, we back out reading the mail.

I am a direct distributor for texas star. I have been dealing with mike for over 8 years. Now that ray at galaxy and mike at texas star got laid off. mike is still doing a lot of warranty work. Any doubts call 760-480-8800 Talk to john. People hide the fact that TEXAS STAR has a warranty. They will even send you the little wheat bulbs for the switch's. (FREE)

That's what I thought too Linx. She is implying that Tire Guy made a mistake by not returning the amp to Texas Star and save money..under a ten year warranty. And she is backing up her claims by using the Galaxy support phone number to prove a point. Texas Star is a different company than Galaxy radio. Now if she new the number to Texas Star and return address for returns or employees that are still on the payroll, I would believe her more. Now I admit that when I sell these units I haven't opened the boxes up and read the latest warranty information but my vendors say two years.
No it is not voided. That is a rumor.
Protech.
I was not at all trying to bad mouth you. I think you do great things for this forum. I was just stating a fact.
As far as galaxy tech line. They are the same people. You as as a cb shop should know that.
I did not mean to start a argument. Just call that number and ask.
