I am looking to purchase a general lee w/ super wack pack and receiver with a wilson 5000 from radio active. How good of a setup is this and what kind of work does radio active do? Do I need an amp? I want to be real loud and proud. If so what kind should I get?

The best advise I have for you is just call RA he will probably not answer the phone (very Buisy) BUt he will call you back. He sat on the phone with me the first time for 45 min. and explained every thing from what type of wire I needed to use for install to the type of mike I needed. You cant beat the customer service. When I call I just forget every thing I think I know and listen close. he knows what he is doing I mean come on a life time guarenty. If you have called allready, then the only other question is about amps so THE question is how loud do you want to be?

Depends what you want to do with the radio, General Lee for Radio Active WILL be Loud & Proud!!! If you want to talk Big distance, you may want to get an Amp, call Mike and he'll call you back and explain all to you, great guy to deal with

Do you have any suggestions on the amp with the general lee swp, wilson 5000, 636L mic. earlier today in email you mentioned something about prewiring something what was that? What kind of watts would i be pushing b y putting a davemade m80 amp with it? :8_confused:

I love my superwackpacked General Lee. It's loud and proud. I'm looking into the new EastCoast amps.

I think BobOstro has a Davemade M80 with his superwackpacked g. lee...

That's the setup I have. SuperWackPacked/SuperReceive General Lee, Wilson 5000 mag mount, and a Dave Made M-80 in my truck. All I can say is that it rocks. I should have gone with a little bigger amp though. Oh well, live and learn.... Although 200 watts ain't that bad...

I have a Galaxy DX95T coming sooner that I thought from RA. Can't wait to check it out!
