Need a good mic for a Washington
What would be a good desk mic? I have a old D104, would it work OK if I had the plug changed or should I sell it and get something else?

Great advice here. I run mine the same way: D104 for AM and Turner +3 for SSB (sometimes the Turner Super Sidekick, depending on my mood...lol).TheTeZ wrote:yeah, the washington has great audio as is. if the d104 is a great mic, i dont know if you use the sideband on that washington. but if you do the d104 will work, but the turner +3 will work even better.(only do that if your running ssb though)

I have a d104, 5 pin, already wired if that washington is a 5 pin, in the for sale section. bump bump. Whether or not you buy mine, the d104 in general is hard to beat, an old sadelta would be fun too, but some do like the Turner sound. Both are good, just different.
