pretty killer isn't it?

that's a maxon MCB-25, and a 3 foot "nameless" antenna!

the radio is even wired to a netgear wall adapter thats rated at 12vDC and 1.2amps... who could ask for a better setup!

Man I hope one day I'll be able to own a fine set-up such as that. How do you keep everything straight with all those wires and hook-ups.........You da' man

i notice that you have the antennas spaced the right distance for the most db gain

skip rolled lastnight from around your area down to georgia and alabama then swung out to the westcoast for about 3 hours then it died like someone flipped the switch

talked to Double S around san diego around 30 minutes on the bowl they we went to 19 to lock the mess down

naw north texas mudduck i was talking about cant wait to hear hot hands on the bowl with his new base. hahaha naw youve got to start somewhere. anyways me and my mudduck truck is gettin up

if you can find a long bread knife and sit both the antennas on each side of the knife
im thinking it might begin to see some counterpoise and which ever direction the handle is pointing it will talk better in that direction

Once the zombies rise I can totally visualize myself locked in the basement calling out for help on that set up. Just make sure to turn that lamp off or it will attract hordes of them.
