i just purchased some 1inch braided straps that i will be putting under my cab and hooking to the frame, should i put some thing like rustoleom on the straps to prevent rust or put them down there as is? thanks 4 any help :r&r:

How about the 'goo' you dip tool handles in to insulate them? Coat all of the strap except the end terminals. Messy, but it ought'a preserve them longer than 'Rustoleum'.
