Post by Maverick1114 »

Ok so i know this is going to be a really simple question for you guys to answer but can someone tell me how to wire in my cb. i thought i had it right but i guess i dont. i have an antenna on my roll bar on my chevy s10. there is the coax or what ever that big black cable is that is going from my cb to my antenna. the cable has the screw in fitting on it and it is screwed into the base of my spring. i have power to my cb i'm just not picking up any signal with it. i am the only person i have seen with the end screwed into the base of my spring. i know my cb works becase i have picked up a signal with it before and i have pluged it into other rigs too. please help me

thanks

First question do you have the Mic plugged into the radio? Some Cobra's need the Mic installed to be able to receive.

is you spring mounted on a stud because it has to be mounted to a stud so that you can connect your coax to the antenna.
