Hi PONY EXPRESS,
If those pictures do it justice, I would say you got a good deal. Shipping for a Dak or a Tram D201 is going to be expensive. They are heavy and large. I haven't seen a DAK X in that nice shape in years. Do they work?

Man Pony Express, those are some very nice looking rigs. Got a friend of mine that has/had a D-201A, great sounding rig. Never heard or seen a DAK of any kind that I know of but, they sure are cool to look at. Hope its all in good shape when you get it. ....385

Hi PONY EXPRESS
Sweet deal. I hope you are just as happy with the UPS driver after the DAK arrives. It would be nice to bat a thousand.

yes the ydo look very nice no doubt.Double D wrote:I love those old school radios...
I had to order a desk mic for the TRAM D201A so we found REDMAN had the special mic plug required and ordered a astatic desk mic from him as well.
I ordered 2 mic plugs so we could wire up 2 different desk mics for comparison . One mic has graphic equalizer so it should give suberb audio with lots of base level ....
Mic was higher by 10.00 than another dealer on the forum but "THE KEY WAS " HE HAD THE MIC PLUG " .So we ordered it tonight ...
I can't wait to get that radio hooked up to a outside antenna
