COTTONMOUTH/DARRIN-IS NO LETTER RATING GOOD ENOUGH!!
Bought a Cobra 2000 GTL from him. Threw in ALL sorts of stuff on the arm with the radio...... The radio is in pretty impecable shape, when I do set up a base is gonna look beautiful on the desk. Have seen a lot of 2000's but this one definately takes the cake. Not to mention that he packaged everything like it was gonna pass trhough a nuclear fall out zone in transit so that the radio would be safe. Can't say enough on how great it was dealing with him.....THANKS AGAIN DARRIN-----JIM AKA PYRO-736

beginning to worder if the Big Daddy ever showed up or not was beginning to think the Mail Man decided he liked it better and was going to keep it for him self.
Man I'm glad you are happy with it and you are right that radio specially is hard to come by in that condition as well. That radio was a really good talker too with great ears for a radio that is as old as that one is.
As I mention earlier to you I believe the only thing I would probably do to that radio when ever you decide your going to put it on the Air is the R114 Mod that increases the Audio response of the radio and gives it a Tube radio Type sound quality, not that it is needed at all because that radio sounds really good to begin with and already has it's own one of a kind sound but I think it would put the icing on the cake and make everyone just soil their drawers when they have you in there receive.
Also before I sent it off to you I did a good once over as I do with everything I sale just to make sure everything is up to par or to my standards which are really high anyways but i noticed the lights on the two meters were not the same brightness so I went ahead and changed them out with new LED's that really make the meters look a lot nicer now than what they did before, You probably won't notice a difference from what they were before because you never seen them but just thought I would let you know you are good to go and if you have any questions or anything at all, email me or whatever you have my numbers too.
