I am going to bite the bullet and drill the hole. I really like the RF Power puck mounts, they are really good looking! My question is this............ How do you connect the coax to the bottom of the mount? From the pics a have seen, there is no female pl connector. Is there a lug used or something similar? Also, the puck will be used to mount my 108. Has anybody used one of these to mount a 108? Does the thread pattern match up? Oh and I am using Belden 9913. The reason for this whole deal is to try and keep the fuel pump whine out of the coax, by running it inside the truck instead of underneath near the interference

It will be connect via a lug or bolt. You will strip back the insulation of the coax about 6 inch's. separate the ground shield and twist it together then a add a ring terminal and bolt it to a clean solid ground. The center conductor would have a ring terminal also and be connected to the center of puck on the bottom side.

Thanks RAYRAY. So, two lugs. One for the shield to good ground, and the other on the center conductor bolted into the puck for the ant. You the man, thank bud!!!!!!

Hey no problem, it may also need to be reinforced from the bottom side so it won't flex. They make backing plates for this too. Check out the Fatboy site, they have everything. Goggle Charger Charger.

If you go with Rf for the puck be prepared to wait. It took 2 days shy of a month to get mine but well worth the wait.

Fired you off a pm. The pic is of the bottom side of the new pucks from MoJos. That should make your connection job a bit easier. They are superior to the Fatboy Charger pucks because they are an inch larger in diameter, come with a backing plate and are sold by a sponsor. Not to mention they come with a gasket to seal your new holes from the weather and all necessary hardware. The ship time is about one and a half weeks right now.
