another tube question

As I search for a 12ax7 tube I found there are many different kinds some are gold pinned some have different letters behind the 12ax7 such as ecc83 and other kinds with many different
price range. As Im trying to re-tube my robyn 240 would anybody know the correct tube im after here or have any recomendations ? Thanks

Try to get NOS American made I prefer Sylvania. You don't need gold pins. If there's a letter after the 12AX7 like 12AX7A that's a newer version of the tube. A number like ECC83 is the european number of the tube.
