Hi 479....
It definately sounds better with the mic gain at 2 o'clock...and to my ears, it
would sound even better at noon. I'm hearing what sounds like clipping of the
waveform...and it decreases as you lower the mic gain. Maybe it's just the
recording, but it still sounds like there is some overdriving going on.

sounds like you are splattering, hahahaha just kidding. sounds great. the mods definitly added some pizzaz and sparkle and crunch. never even came close to sounding distorted. just on the edge. good cutting tone. im a fm radio dj sound seeker for the most part, but that tone has class. personally i thought it sounded best at 2 notches from 100%.. to me at the 12oclock, it started to lose its authority, only some parts of your voice hit the "crunch" region.(meaning distortion, guitarists used to call it 'fuzz') at full 100% , it started to sound transistorish, and thinner,it lost warmth and you sounded skinnier.. at 2 notches from full, some of the warmth came back, and all sounds /sylablles/ consonants hit the crunch region very evenly. nice tone. 2zero9
