New to it all -- need guidance
Ok, so I went to the store today and picked up a Cobra 19, and a Little Wil antenna. I thought it'd be a neat project for me to work on, but I realized I know nothing about grounding, which fuse to plug in, if I need to get any additional wires for the install, etc. So if you could point me in the right direction, here's what I'm working with....

Your best bet would be to wire directly to the vehicles battery, red to +, and black to -. You might find it handy to pick up an SWR meter to tune your antenna properly. The manual with the radio should show you how to hook up the radio.
