kinda new to this had 959 949 both mislined out of the box didnt know grounding my max 2000 was safety issue do now will do it 949 doest seem to hear good when i get ant grouned will that help also should i grd the radio case using it in house on 3 watt suppley for now also need to get bigger coax what do u guys think thanks

I think you can never have too much grounding. And going to better quality coax is always a plus. I'm assuming you mean 3 amp supply? If so, that's a bit on the small side to me. I'd consider looking for at least a 7amp if not 10 amp if you are running a sideband radio.
