I had to mount my 959 (then swapped it for my General) in my 08 Civic. I attached it to the center console to the left of my gearshift by putting an aluminum plate behind the plastic and then made a bracket out of two 2" angled right aluminum to which I attached the radio bracket. It takes out about 4" of leg space, however most people don't complain(ride or walk might have something to do with it  ) and the Accord has alot more room then a civic.

I ran the positive straight from the battery. To the left of the clutch(behind the fuse panel) is a plug that that let me run the wire up through the driver's side fender. There wasn't enough room for the negative wire so I grounded to the frame using a bolt for the passenger seat.
