Wilson 5K Placement

I'm going to install a new radio in a truck and have a wilson mag mnt and without placing it on the roof could it be stuck on a bedrail ?

The absolute best answer to that is, yes. A very good rule of thumb is that antennas work better on top of stuff rather than under stuff (or beside stuff). Except for aircraft, under an aircraft works pretty good too. From there it's just a matter of where ever you can put the thing for whatever reason you have to do it that way.

You could idk how well it will really stay on there. Best bet might be to get a different antenna if you want another wilson 5K then go with the trucker one that can be bolted the bed rail
