I have a Pro 96 that was programmed at Radio Shack when I got it.

I will say that it can be a little challenging at first to understand how to work everything on it. The emergency services in my county have switched to the digital system which is hard to track when scanning.

Do a google search for frequencies in your area. Radio Shack also has frequency books that come out every year i think.

THIS WILL SOLVE ALL THE FREQUENCY FINDING PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE!! =)

**Be sure to put the scanner in search mode every now and then to look for new talk groups etc..
