I am looking to get a new big mobile radio won't be running no amp but i want ssb anyone got and suggestions and prices for me.

Are the galaxys good on ssb and am because i really like the features it come with but if it no good talking than i'd get another cobra and what galxy cb is the best on ssb? ya all are so helpful.

Galaxy radios are great on AM,but so so on SSB, drift some, if you want a SSB radio, look at RCI 2950DX & 2970DX,,,both radios really talk SSB

but those aren't cbs don't they run on ham frequencys cause i can't have that around here i need on that runs on am and ssb.

You can have an export radio converted to talk on 11 meters (cb band).

How does the galaxy dx talk on am i just need a decent radio on ssb i'm not really into it. are those good radios.

Look at a Galaxy 959, they are good CB radios, had one for about a year, no trouble with it
