Need help mounting my CB Radio
I need a cheap, low cost, pedestal mount to mount my CB Radio to the transmission hump of my Suburban. Anyone recommend a company, perhaps someone from here, that is going to cost me around $20 with shipping included? If it's going to be more I'll just build one with scrap metal............

Re: Need help mounting my CB Radio
I built this one from a lower shaft off a Predator 10K antenna, and a Predator stud mount for my Suburban...
This one also is a lower shaft off a Predator 10K, and some scrap metal, and even a lug nut off a old boat trailer! Kinda hard to see because I also mounted my external speaker and a noise filter to the pedestal too.
You may also want to check eBay...Usually there's several on there for sale under $20...Just watch out for the S&H charges!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

How much room do you have on your tranny hump? I run my mobile on this (ps: open this link in a new window) : [Please login or register to view this link]
in my 94 Explorer w/ an auto trans 4x4, there's plenty of room there for my rig, hope this helps
