What part of KY are you in? I'm right on the border of TN/KY (on the TN side) and talk to people up there all the time. There are quite a few people around Bowling Green but I haven't been up there in a while. :joker:

I don't know of any organized clubs. Here in the Derby City we use 39 LSB, though many of the operators have known each other for years and won't tolerate newbies. There are also quite a few guys that use 47 LSB that are spread out across Kentucky and Indiana, again they can be particular who they talk to.

Just for your info. most people use regular CB radios unlike europe etc. I find they use Kenwood, Yaesau etc. Also Most people probably don't have their clarifier unlocked so they are bound to transmit XX.XX50

I have found that many overseas stations want to QSY to XX.XX20 and that isn't possible for me and a lot of other users. This is a common problem that I run into a lot. Just figured I'd throw that out there for ya!!

P.S. Talked to Spain few days ago!!
