Thanks Mike i am glad you like that radio, I am gonna post some positive feed back about you when i get the radio. Me and the UPS guy have been playing tag back and fourth, so i called them and am just gonna pick it up from them, he won't leave it here unless i sing for it and every time he comes i am at work

Just got it today, this radio is almost mint, and the owners manual is flawless as is the other books too. Thanks very much. and thanks for the feedback i have traded items with three people on this forum and they all said they were very satisfied, but you were the only one to leave feedback. I won't be home all this week so i think i'm gonna just sit in my car tonight and test her out.

Anytime man , I'm glad you like the radio. Like I told you , I think that the capacitor at C179 needs to be replaced with an upgraded capacitor and then the TX should be back up to par. Clean the other control pots with contact cleaner and she should be good to go. Again , it's been a pleasure dealing with you.
